Job Overview
Key Responsibilities
-Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by leveraging prospecting, cold outreach, and participation in trade shows and industry events.
-Sales Cycle Leadership: Manage the end-to-end sales process—from lead generation and opportunity development to quotation, negotiation, order closure, and revenue realization.
-Customer Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with key accounts to drive repeat business, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
-Technical Collaboration: Work closely with OPT’s technical and engineering teams to design and propose customized, value-driven proposals that address complex customer challenges.
-Internal Coordination: Collaborate with sales support, marketing, and product teams to ensure competitive, timely, and customer-focused proposals.
-Market Intelligence: Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and insights on market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support strategic decision-making.
Qualification
-Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Automation, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or sales engineering, preferably in machine vision, industrial automation, or related high-tech industries.
-Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a competitive market.
-Strong “hunter” mentality with a proactive, results-driven approach to identifying and closing new business opportunities.
-Excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (both written and spoken). Proficiency in Mandarin is a strong plus.
-Ability to analyze customer operations and articulate the value proposition of OPT’s products effectively.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM tools for pipeline and sales reporting.
