Job Overview

As a Sales Engineer at OPT, you will play a key role in expanding our vision product portfolio within an assigned territory. This position is designed for driven individuals eager to launch their career in technical sales. You will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to develop skills in sales, customer engagement, and technical solution design. Key Responsibilities

-Support the identification and acquisition of new customers, including system integrators, distributors, machine builders and end users. 
-Assist in building a sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and industry engagement activities. 
-Participate in commercial discussions, product demonstrations, and customer presentations under the guidance of senior team members. 
-Help manage stages of the sales cycle, from lead generation to quotation support and order processing. 
-Collaborate with internal teams in sales support, marketing, and technical departments to prepare customer-focused proposals. 
-Maintain relationships with existing accounts to foster repeat business and identify upselling opportunities. 

-Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market insights to management. 


Qualification 

-Educational Background: Open to all majors; preference for candidates with degrees in Mechatronics Engineering, Electronic Engineerin-g Automation, AI, Robotics, or related STEM fields. 
-Language Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Mandarin is a plus but not required. 
-Career Interest: Strong interest in building a career in technical sales within the vision technology or industrial automation sector. 
-Personal Attributes: Team-oriented, self-motivated, and eager to learn. Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals. 
-Experience: Prior internship or project experience in sales, engineering, or customer-facing roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
