PPM (Pixels Per Module) indicates how many pixels represent the smallest code element. For optimal performance, 1D codes typically require 1.4 PPM, while 2D codes need 4 PPM. Maximum exposure time is the longest allowable setting at the current motion speed—exceeding this may result in motion blur.
